The special presentation will focus on Speaking Canadian English,
Speaker, author and teacher, Judy Thompson will address how spoken English
evolved differently from written English, and outline the six simple principles that govern
all spoken English. Judy will provide tools for teachers to help students at every level let
go of concerns about accents and grammar mistakes, to participate more fully and confidently in Canadian society.
We will round out the morning with a Used Book Sale and the TESL Ottawa AGM .
